Un adevărat slujitor al lui Dumnezeu nu este niciodată popular în rândul maselor

În 1Cronici 12, citim despre cei ce au stat alături de David când Saul îl persecuta. Era uşor să te aliezi cu David după ce a devenit rege; dar aici citim despre oamenii care i s-au alăturat în timpul în care era respins şi vânat pentru ca să-i ia viaţa. E uşor să trăieşti în totalitate pentru Domnul în ceruri, dar să-L urmezi în toate aici pe pământ, unde El e respins şi dispreţuit, e deja altceva. Tot astfel, este uşor să te alături unei biserici după ce a devenit faimoasă şi populară, dar e altceva să mergi acolo când e dispreţuită, atunci când vezi că ungerea Domnului e acolo.
Oamenii care au devenit generalii armatei lui David după o vreme sunt aceia care l-au urmat în timpul în care era persecutat de Saul şi respins de Israel. Vedem ceva asemănător şi în zilele noastre. Dumnezeu ridică un om să facă o lucrare pentru El în un anumit loc, dar foarte puţini au ochi pentru a recunoaşte ungerea lui Dumnezeu peste el şi lucrarea lui. Doar acei puţini i se alătură şi nu le pasă de ce ‘Saul’ sau oricine altcineva spune despre el. Astfel, ei realizează o lucrare eternă pentru Dumnezeu în generaţia lor. Trebuie să ne antrenăm simţurile pentru a recunoaşte unde este ungerea lui Dumnezeu azi.
Un adevărat slujitor al lui Dumnezeu nu va fi niciodată popular, după cum nici Stăpânul lui nu a fost popular. Isus a zis: “Vai de voi, când toţi oamenii vă vor grăi de bine! Fiindcă tot aşa făceau părinţii lor cu proorocii mincinoşi!(v26); Ferice de voi, când oamenii vă vor urî, vă vor izgoni dintre ei, vă vor ocărî, şi vor lepăda numele vostru ca ceva rău, din pricina Fiului omului! Bucuraţi-vă în ziua aceea, şi săltaţi de veselie; pentru că răsplata voastră este mare în cer; căci tot aşa făceau părinţii lor cu proorocii.”(Luca 6:22-23,26). Foarte puţini oameni au înţeles acest lucru. Un adevărat profet nu este recunoscut şi preţuit în întregime în timpul vieţii lui aproape niciodată.
Istoria bisericii arată că până şi apostolii adevăraţi erau respinşi si dispreţuiţi de alţii în timpul vieţii lor. Pavel a fost respins de credincioşii din Corint. El a zis în 2Timotei 1:15 “Ştii că cei ce Sunt în Asia toţi m-au părăsit.” Pavel a fost credincios Domnului până la sfârşitul vieţii sale, dar majoritatea fraţilor lui credincioşi l-au lepădat. Isus a fost credincios Tatălui Său şi majoritatea l-au lăsat şi pe El.
Unii din fii lui Beniamin au venit la David (12:16). Davit i-a întâmpinat şi le-a zis: “Dacă veniţi în pace, inima mea va fi cu voi. Dar dacă veniţi să ma trădaţi inamicilor – conştiinţa mea e liberă – Dumnezeu să vă pedepsească.” Trebuie să fim grijulii, pentru că şi azi sunt oameni care vin la noi, pretinzând să fie prieteni. Dar când conştiinţa noastră este curată, Dumnezeu se va ocupa de ei.
Dar uitatţi-vă la minunatul exemplu a lui Amasai(1Cronici 12:18): “Amasai, unul din căpitanii de seamă, a fost apucat de Duhul şi a zis: „Suntem cu tine, Davide, şi cu tine, fiul lui Isai! Pace, pace ţie, şi pace celor ce te ajută, căci Dumnezeul tău ţi-a ajutat!” Şi David i-a primit, şi i-a pus între căpeteniile oştirii.” Oamenii ca şi Amasai au recunoscut ungerea lui Dumnezeu peste David, în ciuda circumstanţelor exterioare, pentru că Duhul lui Dumnezeu era peste ei.
Dacă citeşti istoria bisericii vei găsi că adevăraţii oameni duhovniceşti care stăteau împotriva sistemelor religioase stabilite în creştinism, erau totdeauna persecutaţi.
Uitaţi-vă după ungerea lui Dumnezeu peste un om – nu după daruri supranaturale (chiar şi Satan are daruri supranaturale), ci ungerea şi harul lui Dumnezeu – acestea sunt dovada că Dumnezeu este cu un om. Şi dacă Dumnezeu e de acord cu un om, bine ar fi să fim şi noi! Amasai a avut atâta înţelepciune!

A True Servant of God is Never Popular with the Masses

In I Chronicles 12, we read of those who stood by David when Saul was
persecuting him. It was easy to join David after he had become king.
But here we read of people who joined him at a time when he was
rejected and being hunted for his life. It’s easy to live totally for
the Lord in heaven but quite another matter to follow Him totally here
on earth where He is rejected and despised. In the same way, it is
easy to join a church after it has become famous and popular, but
quite another thing to join it when it is despised, because you see
that the anointing is there.
The men who became David’s army generals later were those who followed
him at a time when he was being persecuted by Saul and rejected by
Israel. In our day also we see something similar. God raises up a man
to do a work for Him in a particular place, but very few have eyes to
recognize God’s anointing on him and on his ministry. These few join
him and don’t care what ‘Saul’ or anybody else says about him. Thus
they accomplish an eternal work for the Lord in their generation. We
need to train our senses to recognize where the anointing of God is today.
A true servant of God will never be popular, even as his Master was
unpopular. Jesus said, “Woe unto you when everyone speaks well of you,
because they spoke thus about the false prophets. But blessed are you
when all men speak evil of you, because that’s how they treated all
the true prophets.” (Lk.,6:22,26) Very few people have understood this fact.
A true prophet is almost never fully recognised or valued in his lifetime.
The history of the church shows that even the true apostles were
rejected and despised by others in their lifetime. Paul was rejected
by the believers in Corinth. He said in 2 Tim.1:15, “All those in Asia
have forsaken me.” Paul was true to God until the end of his life, but
most of his fellow-believers forsook him. Jesus was true to His father
and most people left Him too.
Some of the sons of Benjamin came to David when he was in a cave (12:16).
David met them and told them “If you have come peacefully, my
heart will be with you. But if you have come to betray me to my
enemies – my conscience is clear – may God punish you.” We have to be
careful, because even today there are people who can come to us,
pretending to be our friends. But if our conscience is clear, God will
deal with them.
But look at the wonderful example of Amasai (1 Chronicles 12:18): “The
Spirit of God came upon Amasai, who was the chief of the thirty
valiant men, and he said, ‘We are yours, O David. We are with you, son
of Jesse. Peace to you and peace to him who helps you. Your God helps you.
‘ Then David received them and made them captains of his band”.
People like Amasai recognised God’s anointing upon David, despite
David’s outward circumstances, because the Holy Spirit was upon them.
If you read the history of the church you will find that the truly
godly men who stood against the established religious system in
Christendom were always persecuted.
Look for the anointing of God upon a man – not for supernatural gifts
(even Satan has supernatural gifts), but for the anointing and the
grace of God – those are the proof that God is with a man. And if God
approves of a man, we better approve of him too! Amasai had that much sense!
